Sound Healing at Well Fest East Midlands 2018

Hello, I’m Nicole and I guide people through movement to reconnect their mind, body and breath through yoga and aide people into deep states of relaxation via yoga nidra and sound healing.

I am a yoga teacher and an ultimate relaxation practitioner. Day to day I teach Vinyasa Flow yoga in and around Nottingham. I also lead sound healing workshops and 1-1 sessions with my Tibetan Singing Bowls, along with Thai massage and sound bowl massages.

I love to guide people into states of relaxation. Many people find it difficult to; meditate, create a steady meditation practice, switch off, let their body and their minds relax. This is why I studied Sound Healing with Tibetan Singing Bowls in India.

The power of the sound and the vibrations is a form of meditation, allowing you to just focus on the sounds and the sensations in your body. Not only that, they are healing too. The different frequencies of the bowls can help tune different parts of the body.

Benefits of sound healing include: - Stress reduction - Deep relaxation - Helps to remove energy blockages and toxins - Can help with improving sleep - Cleanse negative energy and emotions - Helps to recover from illness, traumas - Connecting with your higher self

People have said their experience was almost hypnotic, quickly felt at ease and drifted into a deep meditative state. They felt rested, revitalized and incredibly calm.

At Well Fest East Midlands 2018 I am offering a Sound Bath with my Tibetan Singing Bowls. You will be bathed in an immersion of sounds. People react to the sound of the bowls in different ways; some people instantly fall asleep; some people have flashbacks and visualisations and some people can feel discomfort in certain areas of the body. All I advise you to do is to lie down, relax, release and let go; let the sounds of the bowls wash over you.

As the human body is made up of approximately 60% water, the vibrations of the bowls stay in the body for many hours after the sound bath. The healing process continues way after the event. I advise you to drink plenty of water throughout the day after the session, and some people have the deepest sleep they’ve had in years, some have vivid dreams and for some it’s the start of releasing hidden emotions that are stuck in the body.

I wanted to be at Well Fest East Midlands 2018 to spread the love of sound healing. Many people have heard of Singing Bowls but aren’t quite aware of the healing qualities that they have!

So, I thought what a wonderful place to share the healing love to a variety of people!

I can’t wait to meet you all and see this festival flourish!

Lots of love,

Nicole
